“Thirty years of clinical practice and the success of my many wonderful and courageous clients has confirmed my faith in our innate capacity for healing. As a therapist, I seek to provide a safe place, a compassionate presence, intelligent diagnosis, and concrete strategies to tap into and strengthen the natural inner resources of my clients. The healing relationship is transformative, awakening us to real possibilities for growth and happiness while providing support to live with greater awareness, freedom, and peace. Respecting their beliefs, I encourage clients to use their full resources of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process.
I have special expertise in trauma, addiction, depression, and anxiety, as well as extensive experience working with adolescents. My work as a healer is informed by family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), current research, clinical experience, and my background in meditation and mindfulness practices. I am also trained in biofeedback, an effective tool for reducing stress, increasing energy, managing chronic pain, and meeting educational needs such as memory and focus. I offer a sliding scale and accept most insurance.”
